Viva la Dance
Viva La Dance is a 4 year old mare with a powerful hind leg, by the very good breeding stallion Viva Gold OLD (by Vivaldi). She is still green, but good in hand and has been used for breeding in the past year. Viva La Dance is now ready to start as a riding horse or to be used for breeding next season.
In the mare line we find among others the PSG/Inter I horse Showing Best (by Show Star) and the mare Antenne II (by Gepard). Antenne II is mother of the by Gestüt Lewitz bred and ZZ-heavy classified Meggle's Sylvester (by Sir Donnerhall I), the international PSG/Inter I horse Sitana (by Sir Donnerhall I) and she produced no less than 3 approved stallions, including none other than the stallion Sandro Song who among others signed for the fatherhood of the absolute top sire Sandro Hit!
Mother is the Westphalian Verbandspremie mare River Dance. She received the Gold premium at the mare inspection. Her father was the Hanoverian Premium stallion Riverside. In 2004 he won a bronze medal at the Young Horse Championships in Verden. At the age of 6 he achieved a 14th place at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, after which he was sold to Australia for stud service. In addition to Viva La Dance, she produced the Verbandspremie mare Santiana (by Sir Heinrich) and the M-classified horse Quest of Eden (by Quotenkönig).
Grandmother is the Verbandspremie mare Pan Dance (by Parademarsch I), born in 1989. She was used all-round in sports.
Viva Gold OLD made a strong impression in 2019 with his first public appearance in Münster, immediately hailed as a "future star from head to toe." With a modern, long-legged type, three outstanding basic gaits, and a strong dam line, he was already the highlight of the Summer Mixed Sales in 2016, achieving a price of €140,000. That same day, his legendary grandmother, Weihegold OLD, triumphed at the German Championships.
Sire Line – Viva Gold’s sire, Vivaldi, honored as ‘Preferent’ by the KWPN in 2018, is one of the most sought-after stallions in modern breeding. His offspring, like Grand Prix horse Dream Boy, have gained global recognition with performances such as winning the Olympia Grand Prix and the freestyle in Mechelen. Vivaldi’s influence includes numerous international Grand Prix talents and remarkable sons, such as Vitalis and Desperado, who enrich dressage breeding worldwide.
Dam Line – Viva Gold’s dam, Weihronce, is a daughter of Weihegold OLD, the world’s top dressage mare under Isabell Werth, who dominates the international scene with numerous European and Olympic medals. Weihegold’s daughters and approved sons continue this unique dam line with stallions like For Gold and the talented Dodo Weihgand.
Viva Gold’s pedigree is built from champions, combining the finest modern dressage lines of Vivaldi and Weihegold OLD, and enhanced by grandsires such as For Romance I, a stallion with exceptional movement and character, and Don Schufro, an Olympic bronze medalist. Together, they create Viva Gold OLD, a horse bred for the highest levels of sport.
