Sire of this 4 year old gelding is the Emerald van 't Ruytershof offspring Mr. Emerald EB. A stallion that jumps with great power and excellent reflexes.
The dam is the IBOP jumping and 1.30m classified mare Zennith (by Solitair). Her son, Kensington (by Chester Z), competes at 1.40m. Her daughter, Luna (by Hermantico), was sold through Veiling Dronten. Watch the video here.
The granddam is the Elite, PROK, IBOP jumping mare Triolet (by Larino). She herself competed at 1.10m. In her IBOP test, she received four scores of 8 for her walk, technique, attitude, and rideability. Her full brother, Sarino (by Larino), competed at 1.40m level.
Further along the dam line, we find the AES-approved and 1.40m classified stallion Barrichello (by Heartbreaker), ridden by Tim Gredley (GBR).
Sire is the promising stallion Mr. Emerald E.B. This blood-made son of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof made a great impression at the KWPN Stallion Show thanks to his good dedication, quick reflexes, good jumping technique and ability in free jumping.
Mr. Emerald has a very interesting bloodline and has a lot of jumping talent, including his extra jumping progression from his sire Emerald van ’t Ruytershof. Under Harrie Smolders, this chestnut stallion developed into a sensational Grand Prix horse and together they participated in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where they reached the final. They successfully competed for the Dutch team many times and won, among other things, the 5* Grand Prix of Chantilly and the World Cup of Washington. Emerald also seems to distinguish himself in breeding, as evidenced by very successful offspring at the highest level such as Igor, Iluna, Imerald van ’t Voorhof and Jeunesse van ’t Paradijs.
The dam of Mr. Emerald is the 1.30m jumping mare Juweel EB (Action Breaker x Holland). She is a half-sister of several successful sport horses such as Pietje Come On TH (by Come On) who performed up to 1.45m level and the international 1.40m jumping Golden Holland E.B. (by Cooper van de Heffinck). Several international show jumpers come from this direct family, including the Grand Prix horse Golden Coin (by Iroko) ridden by Max Kühner.
