Kannan x Contender x Acorado I
Odyle S, daughter of Kannan, is a strong, evenly formed filly with strong and naturally balanced canter. This filly has a great character and all the qualities for the future sport.
Mother of this great filly is Zatender, a result of the finest Holstein sires Contender and Acorado I. She is a halfsister to the AES approved stallion Hyperion S (Tornesch).
Contender, is one of the best sons of Cor de la Bryère, lived almost up to respectable age of 30 and has left his beautiful conformation, world class jumping abilities and rideability to unaccountable number of offspring and 127 approved sons such as Contendro and Canabis Z. In the highest level of sport you can find for example Marco Kutcher’s Olympic bronze medalist from Athens and 2005 European Champion Montender, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaums Checkmate and Ludger Beerbaums great mare Chiara.
Via the mare Salvadora (Lichtbote) we find several 145, 150 and 160 jumping horses as well as approved stallions in the damline.
Looking at the pedigree of Kannan is like listing the hall of fame of the stallions from KWPN, French and German studbooks with a hint of thoroughbred: Voltaire, Nimmerdor, Gotthard, Farn, Le Mexico, they are all there. Kannan had a slow start for his career for he was one of those stallions that did not pass the preliminary test for stallion inspection. As a matter of fact, he was awarded KWPN status as late as 2011. Today, Kannan is one of the most popular stallions in the world with outstanding record of passing on every trait that a top showjumping horse requires: scope, character, power and good mindset. No wonder Kannan has stayed for decades at the top of the WBFSH rankings. His famous off-springs are Molly Malone, Nino de Buissonnets, Quabri de l’Isle to name a few. Having Kannan in the pedigree of your foal raises the bar right away.
