Trevor S

My sisters Kyjade S and Fade-S jump at  international 1.35m level. and 1.45m. level!

Trevor S is a strongly built jumping foal with a powerful canter. He descends from a mare line that is full of international showjumping horses up to the highest level. Trevor S is a jumping talent for the future.

In the mare line we find a selection of international show jumping horses, including Africa (by Guidam) international 1.60m. - Michael Greeve (NED), the 1.60m. jumping horse Zuidhoeve (Tangelo v.d. Zuuthoeve) and the approved stallion and 1.50m. show jumping horse APPLAUS (v. Unistar ).

Mother is the Keur mare Hyjade S Z (v. Hornet Rose). She was entered in the sport at 1.10 m level and was soon used for breeding. In her mare test she twice scored 8 for scope and attitude. Hyjade S Z  is, the mother of the 1.35m. showjumping horse Kyjade S (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek) and the international 1.45 m. showjumping horse Fade-S (by Andiamo) - Faramarz Babolhavaeji (IRI).

Grandmother Jade (s. Esteban) produced the 1.35 m. Elite, Sport-jump. mare Ushi S (by Heartbreaker) who successfully competed at 1.35 m. She also produced the 1.25 m. International showjumping horse Zephyr S (s. Mermus R).

In the mare line we find a variety of international show jumpers, including Africa (s. Guidam) international 1.60m. -  Michael Greeve (NED), the 1.60m. showjumping horse Zuidhoeve (Tangelo v.d. Zuuthoeve) and the approved stallion and 1.50m. show jumping horse APPLAUS (s. Unistar ).

Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest is an exceptional and interestingly bred stallion. Sire Nabab de Rêve and grand sire Darco have both had successful careers in Grand Prix competitions to include World Cups and World Championships.

Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest has a superlative dam line. Mother Wendelina competed herself at international Grand Prix level with Marc van Dijk, and she is the full sister of the phenomenal Sapphire who won Olympic Gold twice with the American team and many Grand Prix wins at Calgary and Wellington. Wendelina also brought two approved stallions, Edjaz and Koblenz van’t Merelsnest. Grand dam Idjaz C foaled international jumpers Lapino, Qarco van ’t Merelsnest and Vincenzo van ’t Merelsnest.

Ridden by Jur Vrieling, Glasgow van’t Merelsnest is among the top show jumpers in the Netherlands. Winning at Grand Prix and World Cup level, he has also competed for the Dutch Team at the European Championship in Gothenburg,  the World Equestrian Games in Tryon and winning the Nation’s Cup Final in Barcelona. Besides that he won the prestigious Grand Prix of Rome and he won several Nations Cups.

Glasgows offspring perform well at the shows where they show good athletic scope, carefulness and a quick take off. Out of his first small crop more than 25 offspring compete at international 1.45m – 1.60m level.
