Dam is the Ster, IBOP-dr. mare Iris S (by Apache). As a foal, she won silver at the National Foal Inspection, thanks to her beautiful model and suppleness. Her daughter Otharin S (by Sir Donnerhall) was one of the top sellers at the Excellent Dressage Sales in 2019. Her son Radetzky S (by Sir Donnerhall) was invited to the 2nd viewing of the KWPN last year.
Grandmother is the Ster, Preferent mare Zietharin S (by Fürst Heinrich). She has already produced three offspring that were sold for record amounts at the Elite Veiling Borculo and at Sell Veulenveiling. In addition to Iris S, she produced the Elite, Sport-dr. and PROK approved and Z2 classified mare Kalisha S (by Florencio) and is the cradle of the 2nd viewing and ZZ-Zwaar classified stallion Graphit-S.
In the mare line we find a selection of dressage horses that compete in dressage at the highest level. Great-grandmother de Keur, preferent Cietharin (by Ulft) produced the Z2 classified horse Pytharr (by Kelvin) and the Ster, Sport-dr., PROK and ZZ-Licht classified Cittharin S (by Johnson). In addition, Cietharin is the sister of the international Grand Prix horse Bon Aparte (by Sultan).
The Olympic bronze winner Glamourdale is beautiful, impressive, superbly bred, extremely and talented. Glamourdale: “Got it All”. Glamourdale is a son of the “champion maker” Lord Leatherdale, bred from the preferent prok mare Thuja (by Negro), one of the best Dutch broodmares.
Thuja is the mother of the top horse Glamourdale and both Elite mares Zonnebloem (by Polansky) and Fresia (by Jazz). Thuja is a full sister of the English A-cadre top Grand Prix horse Numberto (Spencer Wilton). Great-grandmother Clementine (by Ulft) produced Händel (by Wolfgang), the international top horse of Michael Whitaker.
Glamourdale is the undisputed champion of the 2014 KWPN stallion inspection, the reserve champion of the 2014 KWPN performance test. Glamourdale performed very well in the PAVO Cup and the Stallion Competition. In 2018, Glamourdale was crowned FEI World Champion of 7-year-old dressage horses at the World Championships in Ermelo. In 2019, Glamourdale is undefeated in the Small Tour with victories during the CDI Compiègne and CHIO Aachen (top score Inter I 80.412%). In 2020, he made his debut with a top score of almost 78% in the Grand Prix.
In 2021, he made his debut in the International Grand Prix with a score of 76.4% in the Grand Prix Special. During the World Equestrian Games in Herning (Denmark), Glamourdale managed to win the Grand Prix Special (82.508) and the Kur on music (90.654%) in a phenomenal way.
