Great-grandmother Hobo (by Chronos) competed in dressage at the L1 level herself. She produced the Z1 classified horse Vasco (by Farrington) and the Z2 horse Anastacia (by Clint Eastwood). Hobo is a descendant of the Performance mare Bodystar, who produced the international Grand Prix horse Taurus (by Neostan) and the approved Grand Prix stallion Sultano (by Sultan).
For Romance – a sire, as it should be and also descending from a successful dam line of Voltaire. For Romance set the tone at the inspection of the Oldenburger bond. In its vintage, For Romance stood out and received standing ovations from the audience in Vechta.
As expected, For Romance received high marks in 2012 for its 30-day test in Slieckau. Including a 9.25 for the trot and rideability, a 9.0 for the canter and an 8.88 for his character.
Sire Fürst Romancier, came fourth at the dressage world championships and became bundeschampionat, received the Ia main premium dressage and is further trained by Matthias Alexander Rath.
In 2012, the full sister of For Romance, Fasine, became Oldenburger champion mare - which is a one-time event in the history of the Oldenburger Verband.
Dam's sire Sir Donnerhall I has earned the status of stamp stallion at an early age. Reserve champion of his year, national champion, performance champion, reserve champion of the dressage world championships and Bundeschampion can look back on more than 50 approved sons. With the NRW champion stallion Silbermond, Appassionata and the approved Snap Shot, he had three reserve federal champions in Warendorf in 2010. Numerous auction toppers are at his expense.
In the third generation we find Don Schufro, Danish champion under Andreas Helgstrand/DEN and team bronze winner at the 2008 Olympic Games.
For Romance goes back on the mother's side to Voltaire, the Furioso II son. Which has meant a lot to both breeding and sport. The approved stallions Dusty, Furinos, Platino and numerous internationally successful sport horses also come from this line.
