As a 2,5-year-old stallion, Blue Hors Monte Carlo was the trendsetter at the KWPN Stallion Selection in Den Bosch, received a lot of applause from the enthusiastic public and was rewarded as a Premium Stallion during this KWPN Stallion Selection in 2020. After that, he was partly sold to Gestüt Blue Hors in Denmark and he also became Premium Stallion at the Danish Stallion Inspection in March followed by a fantastic 14-day test in Vilhemsborg and a good breeding season. At the KWPN Performance Test he became reserve champion with a score of 87.5 points and with only 0.5 point difference with the winner.
The 14-day test in Denmark was a fierce competition. All 3-year-old young dressage stallions purchased by Andreas Helgstrand also participated. The overall winners were Blue Hors Monte Carlo and Iron.
