Mother is the Keur, Performance mare Marieska (by Hamlet). She is a real maker of show jumping horses. She brought no fewer than 6 horses that jumped 1.40 m or higher. Her son Rancorrado (by Gran Corrado) jumped very successfully at 1.60m level and was a participant in the European Championship in Windsor with his Irish rider Cian O'Connor.
Sheraton is a very interestingly bred son of Indoctro. Calypso II, Grannus and Gotthard belong to the best sires of Germany and have sired many approved sons and international sporthorses. We find these stallions repeated in many international sport horses and proven stallions like Chasseur, Contender, Top Gun and Graf Grannus. In addition to that bloodline, we also find the thoroughbreds Shogun xx and Steinpilz xx, who provide the necessary blood and hardness.
The Dam of Sheraton, Ginella, is ‘Staatspremie’ and has an excellent dam report with only positive remarks. They call her ‘the convincing one with the striking exterior.’ She excelled in the Test for Mares and received a 10 for jumping and several 9’s for other components.
Palmares
Sheraton jumped at international level with rider Suzanne Tepper. They were 3rd in the VHO trophee and placed 3rd in the 1.35m final in Zuidbroek and booked good results in foreign countries: 2nd, 5th and 8th in Melsomvik, 5th in Vestfold, 7th in Salzburg, 8th in Melsomvik.
